Is Conor McGregor The Biggest Fight in Boxing?
The recent buzz around the potential boxing showdown between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather has other prominent fighters stepping up to challange the Irishman; the most notable being Manny Pacquiao. After Dana White of the UFC offered McGregor and Mayweather $25 million each, fighters have been coming out of the wood work in hopes of landing a multimillion dollar mega fight.
Unfortunately for Pacquiao, Dana White has a long standing beef with his boxing promoter and has no interest in making deals in Pacquiao’s favor.
“Listen, I love Manny Pacquiao,” White told Yahoo! Sports. “But I don’t love Bob Arum. You can tell Arum to save his money and not make any calls over here because we aren’t doing business with him.”
With all this interest it seems unlikely that McGregor will not end up in a boxing ring before the year is out for a payday of a lifetime. He might need to especially if he keeps buying Rolls Royce’s and chartering private jets as seen on Instagram.
