WTF thrift stores, WTF?
I don’t know about you, but the weird things you find at thrift stores can be pretty freaky and even downright disturbing at times. In fact, the whole thrift store experience is strange if you really think about it. From the moment we pass the clerk at the front desk, to getting by the old-stale smell of the place, to wondering where and who the hell all this stuff came from, we ask ourselves why we even go into these stores. Then, as we continue our stroll through the clutter, we find that one thing that makes it all worthwhile. WTF thrift stores, glad you’re around!
Poor Yoda, either he was left out in the sun too long or 900 years of age does a few things to your body. I’ll tell you what though, there are gems hidden in the thrift shops that you simply can’t find elsewhere since the good stuff gets taken quickly, and the leftovers they become can hide the treasure that’s still got plenty of miles on it.
WTR?
If you can get past the smell, the clientele, and the fact that everything is usually lumped together in bins or looks like it’s been tossed around a few times, then thrift shops are treasure troves waiting to be discovered…sometimes. At least there are no booby traps along the way unless you count the cleanup in aisle 5…
