Instagrammer Turns Mirror Selfies Into Real Art
Artist and self proclaimed doodler Helene Meldahl takes those boring bathroom selfies and turns them into fun and exciting pieces of art.
26-year-old Norwegian born Meldahl, now living in Washington, DC, is the creator of Mirrorsme, an Instagram page she created to share her incredibly imaginative mirror doodles. Although most of the work she does appears to be done with magic markers, she says on her website mirrorme.no that she blames it all on the lipstick. Her work has been featured on the Today Show, Good Morning America, EllenTV.com, MTV and BuzzFeed, just to name a few. Helene has also stockpiled over 163,000 Instagram followers captivated by her original selfies that use mirror reflections to create visual effects with Helene as the focus of attention.
