The Golden Arches is offering “Gilroy Garlic Fries” to consumers in the Bay Area for a limited time.
McDonald’s has been pulling out all the stops trying and get back on top in the fast food industry after recent reports of lower earnings. They’ve given us breakfast all day, revamped the Big Mac and introduced all you can eat fries in some stores. Now McDonald’s is trying garlic fries in 4 stores in the San Francisco area. All I can say is HELL YEAH! Fries are great! Garlic is awesome! Put them together and you have heaven. Bring on the mouthwash.
“The new fries are made-to-order in McDonald’s kitchens where restaurant employees toss French fries in stainless steel bowls with a purée mix that includes ingredients, such as chopped Gilroy garlic and olive oil, parmesan cheese, parsley and a pinch of salt.”
“The garlic fries are part of a trend at McDonald’s to experiment with regional flavors and food on its menu.”
According to reports, if the small test proves successful (and you know it will) all 250 San Francisco bay area stores will carry the Gilroy Garlic Fries.
