The Ukraine Anti Government Protests Turn Violent
Protesters use everything for large slit shots to molotov cocktails to hurl at police in central Kiev, Ukraine on January 23rd. A Ukrainian Photographer capture the front line of the battle as protesters poured into the streets of the Ukrainian capital. The protests began after Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich turned away from closer ties with the European Union in favor of a bailout loan from Russia. The protests turned violent this week after he pushed through harsh anti-protest laws rejecting demands that he resign.
