Okay, so it really wasn’t snow but close enough. Up to an 1/2 inch of hail fell on Huntington Beach on March 2, 2015, according to the National Weather Service. What appeared to be snow covered Huntington Beach in a sight hardly ever seen in SoCal. Lifeguards said the layer of white covering the sand and pier was in fact pea-sized hail.
