Theres just nothing quite like a good o’l riot. They are just so fun and rules are just thrown right out the window when you participate in one. Who wouldn’t want to be a part of that? I ask sarcastically. Im not gunna lie, I (yes, your humble narrator) was once in a riot.
Maybe you remember those crazy out of control college students down in Santa Barbara about 2 years ago who decided that the cops had “no right” to perform their jobs, that as taxpayers, we ask them to do. (I will say however, that the pepper spray and rubber bullets our tax dollars pay for work rather well.) Anyways, being right in the middle of a riot (although it was not as severe as what is currently flooding the news) showed me some of the nonsense involved in them. I walked away from that experience feeling embarrassed and wondering how people were able to destroy property and attempt to hurt officers who were only doing their jobs. I won’t get all political and involved with what has recently been occurring across the U.S., but i will say this. We need a lot more moms like this one in the video patrolling the streets and keeping an eye on todays youth.
