Just Keep It In Your Pants
I almost didn’t write about this because it infuriates me so much.
After a model shared a dick pic she received on social media in order to highlight the online abuse she goes through on a day to day basis, she received some pretty nasty comments back. Stina Sanders says she receives “inappropriate messages around three times a week” and if you ask me that’s three times too many.
But apparently not to some “keyboard warriors” as Stina calls them, who responded saying she deserved it. Emeddis92 wrote, “You can’t post these inviting photos and then complain when you get these types of photos back. It’s not harassment if you want it!”
But that’s the thing dumbass. She DOESN’T want it. Regardless of what she posts, it does not EVER warrant a disgusting picture like that. Tomjay1987 also wrote: “You deserve every dick image coming your way. If you pose in underwear, what do you expect?” That’s the most ignorant thing I have ever seen. I’ll tell you what she expects: She expects to be respected. Bottom line. Her job as a model is to pose in her underwear. It doesn’t give the green light for every perv on the planet to send her a picture of their penis.
As Stina said in a blog post called “I don’t want to see your penis!”, “No woman deserves to be sent an image they have not asked for.” And she’s absolutely correct. She makes some other valid points, too.
“You wouldn’t get your penis out in public (although if you do please seek help) so why send me a photo?” I mean, right? “I don’t think anyone deserves to be harassed online or offline. It’s the same as saying a young girl deserved to be raped because she was wearing a short skirt.” A woman’s outfit, online photo, or even actions DO NOT EVER warrant harassment. Keep calling ‘em out, Stina. Unlike you, they deserve the humiliation.
