What Can You Learn About A Person From Their Bedroom?
French photographer John Thackwray wanted to know how the rapid advancement of technology was changing the youth of this world. What impact was technology having on his ‘millennial’ generation? What was the connection between Internet accessibility and things like happiness, education, women’s right and poverty? He figured what better way to find out than to look inside people’s bedrooms. A bedroom can tell a lot about a person. So after interviewing more than 1,200 people in their bedrooms in 55 different countries, Thackwray took some of his favorites and posted them online.
Although bedroom had it’s own individuality, there were some interesting similarities. What I personally found to be the most interesting was the smiles on the faces of people in some of the poorer counties. What similarities do you see?
