Grab Your Tissue Boxes Pt. 5481
I’m not one to cry, but dammit I’m a sucker for these military dad reunions, and they just keep getting more and more creative causing more and more reluctant tears to flow out of my eyes.
U.S. Marine Corps Master Sgt. Randy Brock surprised his son AJ at a baseball game, pretending to be one of the umpires at home base.
With the help of Heath Thomas, one of AJ’s coaches, Master Sgt. Brock perfectly timed the reunion with his son.
The Marine had been stationed in Japan over the last six months and didn’t tell his kids he was coming home.
Heath told InsideEdition.com, “He left for deployment shortly after AJ, his son, joined the team. They had told the kids that he wasn’t getting back until June.”
His daughter, who is just as thrilled, doesn’t waste any time making her way to home base to hug her dad, who embraces them both with open arms.
We’re glad to have you home, safe and sound Master Sgt.
