Jason Bourne looks like he got meaner with age.
Normally sequels that come out years after the last movie are just blah. More of a cash grab move by Hollywood than an actual good film. There are obvious exceptions (Fast & Furious series, Star Wars series, etc.) I mean, sure, they are still cash grabs by Hollywood. But they are also awesome films. I think Jason Bourne, part 4 in the Bourne series (ok technically part 5 but let’s all agree to forget the one with Jeremy Renner) is going to be a home run.
By the third movie, things were getting stale. Even Matt Damon said in an interview that if they made another one it would have to be called ‘The Bourne Redundancy.’ This franchise needed to take a long break to refuel, and Damon is great enough of an actor to revive an old series.
The opening of the trailer is badass.
