The USA is a country of immigrants, a melting pot if you will. Of course, there are many immigrants in other countries of the world, but American society is well-known for it. It’s one of its most famous traits. And boy, do some racial groups represent!
According to the latest data by the US Census Bureau, the Asian non-Hispanic population is the most numerous minority in the US after black non-Hispanics. Along with the broad demographic of Asian Americans comes the overall growing popularity of content related to Korea (K-dramas, K-pop) which helps put the whole race „on the map“ in Uncle Sam’s home.
This boy, Joon Lee, is doing it right! The hilarious guy has gained popularity through Instagram, where he has been posting comedy-related content since 2017, with a plethora of meme-inspired skits. He loves playing with the Asian stereotypes, as well as the „struggles“ of an average immigrant.
Important Government E-mail – You’re Native, Aren’t You?
This particular skit is his funny take on the problems immigrants’ kids (who are native in American English) face when they have to translate official papers to their parents who might struggle with the language. It’s funny because it’s real life! Are there any immigrant Radasses representing here? And, are there any white Radasses who empathize while cracking up? Tell us what you think!
