Just in case you’ve been hiding from the world over the past week, I’ll fill you in. Last week Robert Kelly’s BBC Skype interview went viral after his two children came into dad’s office while he was live on air. They were immediately followed by a lady (who we later learned was their mother) that smoothly slide into the room to escort them out.
Jono and Ben, a satirical news and entertainment TV show in New Zealand recreated the scene, switching positions of the father and mother.
The clever parody begins the same way but this time it’s mom in the hot seat. Instead of shooing the kids them away like dad, mom calmly deals with the situation and much more. With the exception of the mother defusing a bomb in the video (because at that point, even I would say would say F that), this parody is pretty accurate – at least that’s the case in my neck of the woods where mom is a multitasking superhero.
