Happy National Donut Day!
Each year on the first Friday in June, people happily celebrate National Donut Day. Or, if you are anything like me, you had no freaking idea it ever existed until, of coarse, you read about it on the Internet. Whatever would we do without the Internet? It was meant to honor the women who served the donuts to soldiers in World War I. At least they had a good reason for starting this National Day.
