The Glass Slide in Los Angeles is For the Fearless
You may remember when I wrote about this glass slide in downtown Los Angeles back in May. Well, it has finally opened. And people are shitting their pants loving it. This is the US Bank Tower. It’s the largest building on the western half of the country.
Below is the glass slide they built. It runs on the OUTSIDE OF THE BUILDING from the 70th floor to the 69th floor.
The slide mostly opened to reporters and late night show hosts first for publicity. But now anyone can take a ride down this 45-foot death slide for $33 ($25 for admission to the Skyspace observatory and another $8 for the slide.)
From the looks of it, fear and joy are the only two emotions you will experience.
Here’s a video of the slide in action. Feel free to skip ahead to the 4-minute mark.
