If You’re Afraid of Heights, This is Not For You
I am going to do this. I just probably won’t be the one of the first guinea pigs people to test it. OUE Limited is spending $50 million to redo the tallest tower on the west coast. They’re going to make this old US Bank building look brand new from top to bottom.
The two most Radass upgrades are the observation deck and Skyslide. The observation deck will give you 360 degree views of downtown Los Angeles. That’ll cost you $25. The Skyslide is made of glass, is OUTSIDE OF THE BUILDING, and travels from the 70th floor to the 69th floor. Like I said, if you’re afraid of heights, this is not for you.

The glass is 4-inches thick (which doesn’t sound like a lot) and is 1,000 feet in the air. The slide opens June 25. It’s $8 on top of the $25 to enter the observation deck. So I’ll go after July 4th. Unless I see people splatted at the base of the building. Then I’ll wait until August.
