Damn it! I wanted to like this. Many people were pissed when it was announced a new Ghostbusters movie was being made without the original cast. Then a subset of those people were even more pissed that it was all women because even in 2016 there are still some people who think women are not equal to men.
For that last reason, I desperately want this movie to be amazing to rub it in the face of the pessimist who made up their mind soley off the fact it is a movie full of women. But then this trailer dropped….
I couldn’t find one funny joke in the entire damn thing. And this isn’t one of those movies that the best jokes will be in the R-Rated trailer. The film is going to be rated PG.
