Ho Ho No! Here’s Why You Don’t Go Black Friday Shopping
When most Americans think of “Black Friday”, they’re thinking about retail sales with insane deals, but the reality of the Friday after Thanksgiving in most cases is mayhem.
In a mall in Tulalip, Washington just outside Seattle customers filled a Nike store looking for that special deal. The problem: shoes are not like a TVs, one size doesn’t fit all, so when customers tried on shoes that didn’t fit, they just tossed them on the floor. According to one worker at the store, who wanted to remain anonymous, an estimated 20,000 people passed through the store leaving the floors covered with boxes and shoes scattered everywhere.
Here’s what the store looked like before Black Friday.
Hopefully the next time you walk down an aisle at a store, this story reminds you to not be an ass and treat it as if it’s your own.
