Sad Ben Affleck Breaks My Heart
The reviews have been brutal for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice (29% on Rotten Tomatoes as of this writing.) I, like many comic book fans, really wanted this movie to be good. No one expected great things with Zack Snyder directing, but with several Oscar-nominated or winning actors (Amy Adams, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Lawrence Fishburne, Ben Affleck if you include directing,) you’d think they wouldn’t screw it up that much.
Guess we were wrong.
An interviewer asked Affleck and co-star Henry Cavill their thoughts on the bad reviews for their movie. While Cavill did his best to give a positive, albeit long-winded answer, Ben just looked down at the floor with pure sadness. As if this was the exact moment he realized how bad this all turned out.
Whoever dubbed in Simon & Garfunkel’s The Sound of Silence is a genius.
