The above witness sketch was supposedly a major reason for the arrest of 15-year-old DeAndre Charles, who was arrested on Dec. 9 for a 2014 murder of a rabbi in Miami.
If the dude murdered someone, glad to hear he is in jail. But let’s be honest here. That sketch is NOT the reason he was apprehended. Are we looking at the same picture?!?! My 3-year-old nephew has drawn more accurate sketches of his poop after nap time.
Below is the Miami-Dade State’s Attorney. She called an entire press conference to parade this photo out for the world to see.
The witness who sketched this is no artist. Obviously. But why on Earth wouldn’t the police department hire a PROFESSIONAL SKETCH ARTIST to come in and create something that might actually help people identify the criminal? If they introduce this as exhibit A in court, kid is getting off.
