Snow In The Sahara Desert Looks As Crazy As It Sounds
The Algerian town of Ain Sefra, deep in the dry, hot Sahara Desert was hit by a freak snowfall on December 19. It’s the first time snow has fallen in the region in 37 years.
Those hot red dunes lightly sprinkled with bright white snow looks almost as cool as a white rainbow.
Being one of the hottest and driest places on the Earth, temperatures here can reach over 122F. Safe to say, I wouldn’t survive there for more than a couple minutes.
