The force and power of nature when seen at any speed is normally quite humbling and more than a little impressive. When slowed down however it becomes evident that as impressive as humanity has become, nothing we’ve done holds a candle to the strange, destructive splendor that we have to slow down to see.
Just taking the time to stop and watch what nature can do, and how quickly it can do so, is a nice reminder at times. It’s a great way to stay humble in the face of something that we don’t fully understand, but know very well is far beyond our capabilities to produce.
