Remember The People of Hong Kong The Next Time You Think You Have It Bad
Today more than 7 million people are living in Hong Kong. That’s almost twice the population of Los Angeles with fewer square miles. And with these crowded conditions comes difficulty. More than 200,000 of Hong Kong’s people live in sub-divided “shoebox” flats and cage homes. These small cramped living conditions are often no bigger than a jail cell and more times than not have multiple people living in them. Photographer Benny Lam documented some of the living conditions these people are living in.
