Hackers Leak Emma Watson Photos Including ‘Nudes’ Which Her Reps Deny Are Her
Emma Watson appears to be the latest celebrity to fall victim to hackers. A number of Emma’s personal photos were stolen and leaked to the internet this week.
Watson’s representatives have confirmed that the private photos are her and have been released to the internet.
The Telegraph reported:
A SPOKESPERSON FOR EMMA WATSON COMMENTED: “PHOTOS FROM A CLOTHES FITTING EMMA HAD WITH A STYLIST A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO HAVE BEEN STOLEN. THEY ARE NOT NUDE PHOTOGRAPHS.
“LAWYERS HAVE BEEN INSTRUCTED AND WE ARE NOT COMMENTING FURTHER.”
MANY ON TWITTER AND ON REDDIT HAVE SAID THERE ARE PICTURES OF THE ACTRESS ON THE ‘DARK WEB’ – AN ENCRYPTED NETWORK THAT ALLOWS USERS TO EXCHANGE OFTEN ILLEGAL INFORMATION AND SERVICES WITHOUT IDENTIFYING THEMSELVES.
OTHERS HAVE SAID THE PHOTOGRAPHS ARE ON 4CHAN, A MESSAGE BOARD IN WHICH THE ANONYMOUS POSTS DELETE THEMSELVES SHORTLY AFTER BEING SUBMITTED.
Now I haven’t seen the photos for myself but I doubt that the nudes are actually her. You can do research and decide for yourself but it’s pretty easy to Photoshop a face onto a body. I’m sure the ‘hackers’ would love for people to think that they struck gold.
Either way, let’s hope that these guys get the justice they deserve. It might be amusing to us internet trolls but we have to remember these celebs have feelings too. Poor Hermoine!
