Star Student Turned Dominatrix Wins 1.5 Million
Alissa Afonina of British Columbia Canada was in the top 2% of her high school class and had aspirations of becoming a director or actress according to Daily Mail reports.
All dreams were quickly taken away after she and her mother got in a car accident at the beginning of her senior year. After recovery, she returned to school and made a strong effort to complete her senior year. Eventually she was forced to drop out and had to finish high school at home. After a brief failed attempt at college she began working as a dominatrix under the alias of Sasha Mizaree.
Her attorney argued in court that her lack of “correct thinking” that forced her into such a dangerous business was a direct result of the injuries she suffered in the car accident. He claim that if Afonina had been able to finish high school and go on to college she would have never considered a career in the sex industry.
The judge ruled in the case that her life time earning potential was compromised as a result of the accident and awarded her $1.5 million in compensation for future lost earnings.
