At a Senate session on Monday, reporters lightheartedly asked Joe Biden if he ever planned to run for office again.
Biden replied saying, “Yeah I am. I’m going to run in 2020.”
The reporter then asked what he planned to run for.
“For president. What the hell man,” he answered.
Biden also seemed okay when reporters told him they were going to publish his quote almost like it was a precursor for what is to come.
“That’s okay. No, I’ve enjoyed every minutes of my time here in the Senate. It’s a great feeling to come back. I love this place. I’m not committing not to run. I’m not committing to anything. I learned a long time ago fate has a strange way of intervening.”

Biden unsuccessfully sought the Democratic presidential nomination in 1988 and in 2008, both times dropping out early in the race. So although the question was intended to be funny, a third run at the highest office in the land is definitely a possibility. And based on the reactions to Biden in 2020 he might want to seriously think about it.
