Back to the Future 2 (released in 1989) was set in the future. October 21, 2015 to be exact. Well that day is right around the corner.
I consider BTTF to be one of the greatest trilogies of all time. Hell, as time passes, I think part 3 is actually better than part 2. Toyota sent my fanboy into a frenzy by getting Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd back together to casually talk about what the film got right and got wrong about the future. They got hoverboards correct to a point, whether it be with wheels or over water.
