Sylvie, a 13-year-old Siberian husky, was out near the bay playing with her owner. She accidentally ran across a patch of ice in Pleasure Bay and fell through.
Coyle said that his first instinct was to make sure to save Sylvie. “If the ice breaks and this goes south, I’m in this,” he said. “I’m not going to let her drown.”
