FedEx Driver Steps In To Save Old Glory
Being American more often than not means standing up for what you feel is right, and one FedEx driver did just that.
Matt Uhrin, a Fed Ex employee was having a normal day at work when he passed a group of protesters. There chosen form of protest was to burn the American flag. Their claim was the flag was nothing but a symbol of “racial injustice.”
However, Uhrin didn’t see it as a peaceful demonstration at all, but rather an aggression towards the country he loves and he wasn’t having any part of it. Pissed-off and ready to kick some ass, he stepped in with a fire extinguisher to put out the flames.
One bystander who felt the same about the burning of the flags defended Uhrin’s action, telling the demonstrators that he’s “with this guy.”
“That’s not freedom — that’s treason, man,” he said of the flag burning. “The opportunity, the clothes you have on your back, was provided because of that flag.”
The heated exchange between the protesters and the bystander continued, as Uhrin walked back to his deliver truck with one of the flags.
“I don’t agree with Trump, no,” he continued. “But this s**t is not how you unite a country.”
One demonstrator replied: “That’s not our job.”
“Get college-educated, guys,” said the onlooker as he walked away.
Press-Citizen reporter Stephen Gruber-Miller caught the entire incident on video.

@FedEx should consider #MattUhrin #fedexguy a prized asset to their company. If NOTHING else @FedExOffice should pat him on the back.
