You can always make your home more efficient.

This is best kept as anything but a utensil drawer, just for the sake of safety.

That feels like a great idea, but at that point it’s time to stress to your kids when to use it and when not to.

If you need to keep up appearances then sure, this works.
4. Decorate the foundation of your home to make it more appealing!
Once again, that definitely adds a bit of class to the home. Just make sure it’s applied well enough.
5. Use recessed outlets so you can put furniture up against the wall.
That’s a great idea, just keep it dusted often.
6. Hidden electrical outlets under cabinets keep your back splash clear.
A lot of these ideas are great, but cleanliness is bound to be a big issue with some folks.

This looks interesting without a doubt.
8. Slide out drawers look futuristic as hell!
This is definitely a great idea if a kitchen can support it.

Admit it, the inner child in you just got excited at this prospect.
10. Hide away beds in the kids room.
It’d be important to keep kids aware of why their room needs to be kept up.
11. Actually organize your cleaning supplies.
This is pretty common really, but it’s definitely useful.
12. Modern fonts make everything better. Even house numbers.
This is kind of a matter of opinion to be fair.
13. Bathroom signs mean you never have to explain where the bathroom is again.
For the sake of guests this is great, but if you’re having trouble figuring out where your own bathroom is you might have bigger issues.

This kind of addition is always nice.

This could serve a couple of functions, but it’s definitely nice.

It’s pretty cool, but you really need to keep it clean.

Maybe it could become a drawer later on?

There probably would be a weight limit, but the idea is great.
19. Mirrored tiles make your windowless rooms feel bigger.
This one I can’t help but question since it gives a very closed-off look.

This is a cool idea, and so long as one stores things they use it’s efficient.
21. Build drawers in the wasted space between studs in the wall.
Yes, this is without any doubt a great addition to many homes.
22. Remove a drawer, and give paper towels a home.
So long as one can easily insert and remove the paper towels this works without question.
23. Secret electrical outlets.
Creating solutions to empty space is great, especially if one can keep the aesthetic look.
24. Add counter space to long hallways, and display more stuff.
The only problem is allowing the space to become a catch-all, but otherwise it’s a great idea.
25. Collapsible drying racks!
I’d recommend these for bigger kitchens, no doubt.
26. Dutch doors keep your kids in one room, but let you keep an eye on them still.
The only thing I’d say is to beware of these doors when it comes to opening both sections.

Taking the time to look around your home and figure out what could be improved and what could be used in a different way is a great idea for anyone’s home. Sometimes all it takes is a bit of imagination and the kind of application that can make life a little easier.
