Clubhouse is a new app that’s invite-only (remember when Gmail was like that at the beginning?). The platform hosts audio chats where people talk while others can listen in, making it like a podcast. If you’re looking at this askance like I am then good on you. Technology is great and all that, and the advances that have been made in the last few decades are impressive. But one has to wonder if we’re advancing too fast and hastening the demise that we imagine so often in the movies. True, it’s Radass to think of the unusual and innovative, but stepping over barriers and exceeding limits, cool as that is, can backfire as well.
