These ladies make loving what they do a way to better the world in one way or another.
A lot of the time people will point to major celebrities as their source of inspiration and will claim that everything they’ve done or accomplished had something to do with how that celebrity made them feel. Whether this is true or not for Grace Peters and Katie Cleary is hard to say, but after reading a little about both women and realizing the directions their lives have gone, it’s very easy to say that these two women are not celebs in the traditional sense, but they’re individuals who have done what they felt was necessary to make the world a better place for those who were less fortunate and actually needed help.
Grace Peters is someone who knows what difficulty is all about since she was born with a cleft lip and palate, and required several procedures to correct this issue throughout her life. Amazingly, from the time she was a little girl until the present she made up her mind to help others and become the kind, decent person that a lot of people know her as today. One might say ‘who cares?’ but the fact is that being born with a harelip is rather serious at times, and for reasons that are not solely cosmetic. The fact that Grace took on this crusade has more to do with her character, as well as the experience she has with the issue than anything else. Being inspired by someone that has been spending their lives in service to others is something a person can be proud of, especially if they use this information to the greatest benefit possible.
As for Katie Cleary, one could take note that she’s a model and that she’s extremely beautiful and very easy to look at. In fact, some guys might think that this is all she has to offer at the outset since when it comes to models, some guys are a bit piggish and think that being hot is all they have to offer. But Katie puts the lie to this since she’s been concerned about animal welfare for some time and has used her celebrity status to help endangered animals and those that need help for a while now, and has done so without thought of a reward. How many people can make that same claim when taking on a charity as their own? Models get kind of a bad reputation at times for being all about their career and not thinking as much about others, well, some do, but Katie certainly isn’t one of them since she’s managed to create an image that has bonded her love of being in front of the camera with a worthy cause that has allowed her to become even more visible to a more diverse crowd of people.
Both women are impressive in their own right, so let’s take a closer look at them.
To be fair, it’s tough to tell that Grace ever had a cleft lip.
There is a difference between Grace and a lot of the people she’s helped for much of her life, and the fact that she had easy access to the surgeries and treatments that she needed to fix the cleft she was born with. Not everyone has this type of access, as it’s costly and comes at a great personal expense. If anyone has ever seen a person with a cleft palate and lip then it’s very likely that they’ve pulled back in either horror, pity, or even disgust. Let’s put it this way, the condition is not pretty and it’s not something to wish on anyone. But the upside is that it is fixable and that those who know what they’re doing can alter the quality of life for the afflicted individuals. Sadly, many around the world don’t have access to the type of care that this condition requires. One thing to take note of is that a cleft lip and/or palette isn’t something to recoil from, since it doesn’t make anyone less than human. Instead, it’s something to look at as a normal defect that affects a small number of people across the world, and one that makes life difficult, but not impossible. What Grace and those who share her vision do are to take that difficulty and make it better by improving the quality of life for these individuals, as much as they can at least.
She’s a definite case of ‘paying it forward’.
A lot of celebrities out there appear to care about one cause or another, don’t they? Some likely do care because they’ve either had to experience with one issue or another, but there are far too many that garner a great number of questions about their sincerity since they have little to no experience with the issue they’ve decided to champion. But while Grace isn’t a big-time celebrity, she is someone that has plenty of experience with the condition that she’s trying to help with. She likely remembers at least something of the difficulty that comes with a cleft, as her own condition has been ongoing for a while until she became the woman she is now. If one looks closely they can see the evidence that she once had a cleft, but as of today, she is a confident and self-assured individual who knows what she’s doing and what others are going through. The fact that she didn’t turn the other way after getting her own problem taken care of is what makes her such a great person. One can decide to care about something and make an effort, but caring because you choose to help others over caring because of what it will do for your image are two very different things. Grace has opted to care because she knows what it’s like to live with a cleft, and she knows what it’s like to undergo the treatments that will lead to an improved quality of life.
Those with a cleft often have trouble eating, breathing, and even talking. These individuals have to take care when eating and drinking, and it’s fair to say that life is not quite that easy. But our hats are off to Grace and all those who share her vision since their decision to help those in need is easy to take inspiration from, especially when it comes to making this world a little brighter for others.
A lot of people seek to speak for the animals of this world, Katie is one of the more prominent among them.
There are plenty of people out there who feel like Katie Cleary does when it comes to animals, and while some might not be quite as inspired, there are plenty of people who are more than willing to get behind this woman and her ideas when it comes to preserving the natural world that humanity has inherited and is, in some ways, actively destroying. I know, that sounds kind of preachy, but you can easily imagine that when a hot woman, who’s also a model, like Katie gets involved, there are a lot of guys who are going to find instantaneous inspiration to start saving the world one small bit at a time. That’s not exactly the spirit that a lot of people are looking for, but it’s kind of typical of a lot of guys since there might be a bunch of messages running through their minds when they see someone like Katie trying to protect the planet. Of course, when they see that she’s actually dedicated to it and not using it as a platform to show that she’s not a vapid supermodel that wants to be popular, the decrease in interest might be kind of astounding.
She’s not just taking pictures with animals, she’s trying to make a difference.
There are plenty of celebs out there who would think of a way to make themselves look genuinely concerned while at the end of the day they might retreat to their private mansions and not give a damn. Katie might not be bad off, but she’s out there doing the work it would appear, and she’s not stopping after gaining so much popularity, which means that she’s either not kidding and is actually into this cause, or she’s an incredibly skilled liar. Well, we’re not taking option B since it looks as though she’s out there doing the best she can to make sure that people take interest or at least get to hear what she has to say. The commitment this requires is impressive enough that one can’t entirely deny her reasons for being there, especially since she doesn’t have to be. There’s no doubt that some would take the time and effort to make others think that she’s only there when the cameras are on, but even we aren’t that cynical.
She’s putting in the work, that counts.
The thing is that Katie is doing a lot more good by putting her fame into this cause than she would if she were simply trying to get noticed by as many people as possible. If she can become even more famous while helping animals in need, then who’s to say anything against her? Seriously, there are worse ways to get famous, and if she’s doing some good, then more power to her.
Both of these woman are the type of people that are easy to take inspiration from, and it’s a big hope that they’ll keep up the good work.

Inspiration doesn’t always come easy and yet it’s not always that difficult to find. If you can find people to be inspired by then do so, and if you find two like these women above, then take measure and realize what it takes to inspire others. Sometimes being able to inspire others is even better than being inspired.
