Never let the opinions of others keep you from moving forward.
You can call a guy a gym rat or anything else you want to but the truth is that a lot of those who are in the gym so often are living a dream, or trying to. Some are there just to get fit and feel good about themselves, which is great. Others like Dream, aka Christopher Dorn, are there to inspire others while taking care of their own desires. Looking at the guy might make a lot of people wonder about silly things like how real his physique is and whether or not all those muscles contain a lot of hot air rather than solid flesh and bone. Of course, that’s a hater’s viewpoint.
After talking to the man, it’s easier to believe him when he talks about his journey and what he’s endured to reach his current position. Admittedly, it was a little tough to get hold of him at a time that was amenable to a short interview, but it was worth the effort. Dream is a busy guy after all since he’s a professional in his field and he’s currently carrying several phones around to handle the projects that are dictating his future at this time. That’s impressive to be certain, but what’s even more impressive is that the guy is taking care of business while still finding time to hit the gym.
Just talking to this guy was a pleasure, since despite looking larger than life, he sounds very down to earth.
So, who is Dream, aka Chris?
There are already dozens of articles out there, spread across the internet about this guy, and for good reason. Some would call him a freak of nature in the gym since he is huge and the feats he accomplishes are insane in appearance. Seriously, how often does one enter the gym and watch a guy press, with one arm no less, what would be a max lift for many people? Plenty of people are already bound to call this a trick, and many already have.
But as a guy that’s been bound and determined to follow his own path in life, Dream has carved a path that many are willing to follow. His early days saw him tearing it up on the football field, and at one time he was invited to try out for the former Washington Redskins, who are now the Washington Commanders. Even being allowed to walk on for a tryout would be a serious bonus for any player. But being invited? That’s special without a doubt. Even his name came from the football field, as the manner in which he moved earned him the nickname he uses today.
That’s not a lot about him, is it? Well, less is more at times, and his ability to turn what might have been deemed a depressing turn of events into something positive is another reason why we’re impressed with him. A lot of people can turn a lost opportunity into something great, but while Dream has flown under the radar for a while, he’s built himself up in a way that might turn a lot of heads in the days to come.
Let’s get this out of the way: yes, he’s a big, muscular guy
It could be stated, without offense, that many gyms could boast several if not many heavily-muscled individuals. Hey, this is a big part of what the gym is for, right? A lot of people go there to get ripped, toned, and pump themselves up in ways that the average individual doesn’t seek to attain. Dream is a big guy, at least in terms of his muscles, and simply looking at him makes a lot of people feel that he’s a little intimidating. But getting past appearances is important.
In truth, he’s an interesting and caring individual that lives to inspire others while still doing his own thing. Calling yourself a guru does come with a few caveats since it’s not too different from calling yourself a professional in any field. You need to know something about what you’re doing and how to promote it, and Dream knows a lot about what he’s doing and how to help others achieve similar results. He knows a lot about setting goals and hitting them, and he knows that attaining one goal isn’t enough.
As a professional lifter and fitness-minded guy, Dream is one of the many that a lot of people look to when it comes to changing their lives. He knows how to put in the work, and he encourages others to do the same.
Dream knows all about gym culture
Gym culture has been on blast and highlighted alternately over the past few years now as people have returned to the gym in droves. 2020 did a number on a lot of businesses, but getting out to stay in shape without any issues was kind of tough during the year of the pandemic. Obviously, Dream didn’t miss too many days. But he also helped to push the idea that the gym is for everyone, and that it doesn’t matter who knows what, so long as people understand a few important points.
He does have the look of someone that knows what he’s doing, not just because of his amazing physique, but because he shows a great deal of respect to those who share the gym with him. Those who spend enough time in any type of shared culture come to realize what it means to be inclusive and tolerant of many people. Gym culture is one of those things in life that tests a lot of people but is gratefully shared by those who know how to inspire and build up their fellow human beings during a workout. Dream is one of those guys, without a doubt.
He’s determined to keep moving forward
As of right now, it sounds as though Dream is in a good place with his lifting and his current career goals. There are plenty of people that are focusing heavily on whether he’s faking most of what he’s doing or if he’s really that impressive. Some even state that he’s using fake plates when he lifts and that his body type is all wrong for the amount of weight he’s lifting. Seriously, just listening to the guy is enough to believe his sincerity. Plus, there have been those who have managed to believe him since, well, ordering fake plates is a poser move that doesn’t yield these kinds of results. If you want to take a look at a few of the feats he’s capable of, take a look at his instagram account.
As far as the said opportunities that are on the horizon for Dream, there are a couple that are noteworthy since they could take him beyond the gym. One of those is a career in the movies, where big guys are usually a dime a dozen but are still given a shot to see what they can do. Another position isn’t too far off from the movies since Dream is looking to become a professional wrestler. He’s a big guy, his moves are solid, and while we don’t know what kind of an actor he is yet, we wish him well wherever he lands since this is a guy that is worth following to see how far he can go, and how many people he can inspire.
WTR? (Why’s That Radass?)
There are a lot of people out there that have a good heart, or a great physique, and a lot of determination to succeed in life. But bringing these all together in one person isn’t nearly as common as people think. Dream is what you could call a real one, a person that knows what they want and how to get it. We at Radass salute Dream for his journey and wish him nothing but the best.
